Corporate Profile
NPPC was incorporated in 1971 as a joint venture between Government of Nagaland (GoN) and Hindustan Paper Corporation Limited, (A Government of India Enterprise) to manufacture writing printing and kraft paper with an installed capacity of 100 tpd at Tuli, Nagaland, 05 KM from the Assam-Nagaland border.

The production activities of NPPC were suspended from October 1992 due to continued operating losses.

NPPC is now on the road to revival. A Rs 552 Crore Rehabilitation Scheme has been sanctioned by BIFR vide their order date 27.06.2007 which includes 100% increase in production capacity, 18 MW power plant, ECF bleaching with Do-EOP-D1 sequences.
